Dynamic Duos
This season of Shadow: Big Brother will feature a Dynamic Duos twist! This means that two houseguests will be paired up with eachother. The pairing of two players will last until the final 10. If one member of a duo wins a competition, the other reaps the benefits with safety. During the first four rounds, pairs will be nominated together. The duo must then turn against one another in order to stay alive. On eviction night, one member of the duo will be sent to the Pre-Jury while the order receives a Golden Key. The Golden Key grants immunity to the holder until the Dynamic Duo twist comes to a finish. In addition to having the Golden Key, the holders will not compete in any Head of Household competitions. However, they will STILL be allowed to play in the Power of Veto competitions - in addition to voting.
Head of Household + Nomination Ceremony
Each week the Power will be up for grabs. The winner of the Head of Household will be given immunity for the week. But with power comes responsibility. The winner of this competition must nominate two of their fellow houseguests for eviction. A thread will be created in the living room for the Nomination Ceremony. Houseguest Keys will be presented in the winners confessional - and they must make their decision within 24 hours. They will pull the keys one by one until their nominations are set. They will then explain their decision to the house. The Head of Household will not be eligible to compete in the following HoH, so they must make their decisions carefully and use the week to their advantage.
Power of Veto + Ceremony
The nominees will have a chance to save themselves from the block with another competition. The Power of Veto competition will be played by six people. The Head of Household, The two nominees, and three players selected in a random draw. The winner of the Veto will be faced with the decision to save one of the two nominees, or leave the nominations intact. If the Veto is used, the Head of Household must name a replacement nominee. If the winner chooses to use the Veto, they may not be named as a replacement nominee.
Eviction
Each week the players will cast their votes to evict one houseguest. The nominee with the most votes must say their goodbyes and head to either the Pre-Jury or Jury. Once eliminated, players will be given a questionnaire about their time in the Big Brother house. If a player is evicted from the final 9 onwards, they will become a Jury member - ultimately deciding the winner of Big Brother.
Guidelines
- Be active - simple as that. Do not sign up if you can not devote some time. The term inactive should never come into play.
- Be respectful to the host, the housecalls staff, and your fellow players. Remember this is just a game. Do not let it get to personal.
- You must have an AIM screename to play. Many of the challenges will require you to contact me on AIM.
- Post at least one confessional entry per round. Please let me know what is going on in the game! A better confessional equals a more exciting finale. (This isn't mandatory unless I find the need to enforce it.)
- Leave a boot list in your Diary Room. If you fail to vote, you will get a penalty for the following round.
- No forging - this includes print screening your vote to prove something. That is not allowed under any circumstances. You may NOT pretend to be another player or myself. Any player caught cheating will be expelled.
- Do not share your passwords with anyone else. If you have been evicted, avoid posting in places that are game related. Also if you are evicted, please don't use the like / dislike feature to express your opinions.
- Expect all events (competitions & voting) to run on a 24 hour time frame unless stated otherwise.
